Multiple Industrial Properties on Auction
Park Village Auctions is at it again, bringing two large industrial properties to market this November. That’s the word from PVA’s Stephen Benjamin who says that the auctions each represent fantastic investment opportunities to those in the commercial real-estate know.
Stephen: “Those with a keen eye for investment know to serve growing trends in the market which currently point to large industrial space for logistics, warehousing, and light manufacturing concerns.
“Both properties are primed for these applications, ideally located in industrial nodes with correct zoning in place to accommodate current rental demands. The Chamdor property specifically ticks all the right boxes. It is a highly versatile property suited for storage and logistics, steel manufacturing, motor vehicle distribution, moving companies, a container depot or manufacturer, or bussing companies.”
The first auction will take place at 11 am on the 14th of November and comprises two properties located at 200 and 202 Railway Street in Germiston South. Number 202 Railway Street is fully tenanted. It boasts two open plan walled units, a guard’s room and ablutions. The property has a GLA of 749 sqm’s. Number 200 is currently vacant, comprises large open warehouse or retail space and has a GLA of 811 sum’s.
Both properties are zoned business 1 and offer double-volume workspace, storage space, visibility from the main road along the main bus and taxi routes, and are easily accessible from the N3 and N17 highways.
Following on the 15th of November at 11 am, the star of the show which Stephen anticipates will be “sold in no time.” Here PVA will make available A-grade office space with a large open plan warehouse zoned as industrial 2.
The property in question, number 38 Van Eck Street Chamdor, Krugersdorp, spans over 3.2097 Hectare of which 13,621 sqm’s are under roof. It comprises a well-maintained building with a reception area, offices a boardroom, kitchen, toilets and covered parking on the ground floor. The first floor features a large showroom and additional offices adjoining an expansive warehouse of 9,508 sqm’s with a high-volume roof. Additional features include 2000 KVA power supply from Mogale City (currently only 1000KVA is connected) a flammable store, storage space, a guardhouse, staff ablution and change rooms, ample yard space and parking for articulated trucks, trailers, and large containers. The entire property is fenced and secure.
