Assets Stemming From Gupta-Linked VR Laser Services To Be Sold Piece Meal
Assets stemming from Gupta-linked VR Laser Services will be made available by way of public auction on the 20th of September.

Park Village Auctions, in association with GoIndustry DoveBid Liquidity Services, will soon make available assets stemming from VR Laser Services (Pty) Ltd, in business rescue.

Duly instructed by the business rescue practitioners overseeing the VR Laser Services (Pty) Ltd case, all assets are to be sold piecemeal by way of public auction at 10 Haggie Road, Dunswart Ext 5, Johannesburg, Gauteng, on Thursday the 20th of September, commencing at 11 am.

CNC machining to be sold includes a KMC 1500W CNC vertical machining centre; a Kao Ming 3000SD CNC gantry mill; a Victor V-Centre 70 CNC machining centre; 2011 and 2012 Victor V-Turn 26 inch CNC lathes, and a First MVC 800 CNC vertical machining centre.

Laser and profile cutting machines comprise a Trumpf Trulaser 3040 CNC laser cutting machine; 2007 and 2006 Held Pedilas CNC laser cutting machines; a Robomatix CNC laser cutting machine; 2010 and 2008 Microstep Microlas 6501.25L CNC laser cutting machines; a Burney 1400Plus profile cutting machine; and two Messer Multitherm plasma profile cutting machines (2008 and 2007 models).

Under the banner of plate processing equipment, press brakes comprising an Ermak CNC HNP 7100x1500; an Ermak CNC HAP 6100x800; a Pearson 150-14F; a Tumac WC 67K; a Gufil PE 100; a Trumpf Trubend 3180; as well as plate rolling machines comprising a Grenen HPV 30-3; a MG AK332; a MG AK 313; and an Elga Hydrashear guillotine will be sold.

Additional fabrication equipment on the block includes a Kao Fong KF61A turret milling machine; a YUWE 23050x16/1 radial arm drill; a Toptech 36HP pillar drill; an Edwin Roth ER1226 sharpener; a Cosen Horizontal AH 250 band saw; a Kaltenbach RKT631 cold saw; a Gairu universal ironworker; and a Telesis TMP 7000 pin stamp marking machine.

Welding equipment comprising a Yaskawa/Motoman robotic welding machine with manipulators; as well as over 40 various Thermal Dynamics, Fronius. MIG, TIG, arc, inverter, stud welding, and submerged arc welding machines from manufacturers such as CEA, Miller, Hobart, Starweld, Koko will go under the hammer too.

An assortment of vehicles and site services to be auctioned include dropside trucks comprising Mercedes-Benz Atego 1518 and 1523, a Hino 15-258, and a Tata 7135; a Nissan UD UD100 horse and trailer; bakkies comprising a Mazda BT50 extended cab, two Hyundai H100’s, and Kia K2700; a Caterpillar 800kva diesel generator; an Atlas Copco GA110 compressor; a Detroit Air T-30 compressor; a Jucai JG-20 dryer; and more than fifteen travelling cranes and A-frame gantry cranes.

Finally, executive office furniture and equipment, as well as select, limited edition, sporting memorabilia will make up the last lots of the auction.
