Back To Back Commercial and Passenger Vehicle Auctions Announced

Back To Back Commercial and Passenger Vehicle Auctions Announced
PVA is gearing up for back-to-back commercial and passenger vehicle auctions at month end.

While new vehicle sales figures are depressed, second-hand vehicle demand remains buoyant. That’s the word from Park Village Auctions as they announce two consecutive vehicle auctions near month end.

PVA has secured a bevvy of commercial and passenger vehicles stemming from genuine bank repossessed and liquidation matters. Speaking of the highlights of the sales, head of asset disposal, Le Roy Augustyn, points out that two large logistics fleets will be up for grabs “at much lower than deader prices.”

According to Augustyn, demand for good quality, reliable second-hand stock remains strong, “New vehicles are becoming more expensive to manufacture and, in turn, buy. Yet, this has not quelled the market’s needs to acquire newer wheels. As such, buyers are turning to auctions as a viable alternative to get their hands on affordable, reputable, second-hand vehicles.”

The auction runs commences with a range of luxury SUVs, executive passenger sedans and superbikes to salvaged cars at 10:30 am on the 24th of April at 221 Main Road Martindale. Viewing will take place on the 23rd from 9am-4pm.

Following on the 25th of April, PVA’s truck and trailer auction will showcase a variety of bank repossessed, liquidated and deceased estate units comprising commercial trucks, trailers, agricultural and yellow metal equipment.

“This is the auction that fleet and logistics managers will most certainly be waiting for.” says Augustyn, explaining that two “massive” logistics fleets stemming from liquidation matters will be the main attractions.

Other notable lots include 2013–2016 Iveco 480 Stralis truck tractors, 2015–2017 Paramount Tautliner/side tipper and drop-side link trailers, 2018 Mercedes Benz 2645 truck tractors, 2011–2017 Freightliner Agorsy Detroit/Cummins and Cat truck tractors, and 2011–2017 Afrit Tautliner link trailers

The truck auction will commence at 10:30 at gate 2, 1 Nasrec Road, with viewing taking place on-site the day prior from 9am-4pm.
