Commercial Vehicles, Earthmoving and Agricultural Equipment on Auction
PVA’s month-end commercial vehicle auction will showcase a variety of top quality trucks, trailers, yellow metal machinery and farming equipment.

Park Village Auctions is poised to host its next commercial vehicle auction on Thursday the 26th of July. As ever, the sale will showcase a number of top quality trucks, trailers, yellow metal machinery and farming equipment.

Rigid trucks and truck tractors to be auctioned include a fleet of Volvo FH440’s as well as assets from manufacturers such as Freightliner, Hino, International, Isuzu, Iveco, MAN TGA and TGS models, Mercedes Benz, Mitsubishi Fuso, Nissan, Scania, Tata, and Toyota Dyna.

Under the banner of trailers, among many others, SA Truck Bodies; Hendred Fruehauf; Afrit; Motor Trail; Flat Deck Link Trailers; skeletal; curtain side trailers; side-tipper trailers and a high-volume drop side link trailer.

Specific earthmoving equipment and farming equipment comprises a Mustang 642 Telescopic Handler, a Yuchai Yc15-8 Mini Excavator, Challenger 670b Harvestor, a Fiat Hitachi 4x2 backhoe loader, a Jumil 4 R0w Planter, and a Potato Sorting Machine.

PVA’s LeRoy Augustyn is optimistic about the upcoming auction citing improved sales figures for both heavy commercial vehicle and tractors reported by NAAMSA (The National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa) and SAAMA (The SA Agricultural Machinery Association) respectively.

Augustyn: “New vehicle sales figures for HCV’s from May to June of this year increased by 22.9% indicating an upsurge in consumer confidence. It’s not a stretch of the imagination to say that used vehicle sales will follow suit.

“Meanwhile, SAAMA’s year-to-date tractor sales figures reflected an 11,9% increase compared to the first six months of last year as well as a 25% increase in combine harvester sales in June 2018 compared to June 2017. Both figures lead me to believe crops and subsequent summer harvests look promising.” He adds.

Those looking to invest in the genuine bank repossessed assets to be made available by PVA should head to Nasrec on Randshow Road in JHB South of the 26th of July where the auction where commence at 10:30 am. Viewing will be held the day prior from 10 am to 4 pm.
